Lexus Sport Yacht Concept

Toyota’s high-end luxury brand, Lexus is known for building some very fine automobiles. But that doesn’t mean that they’re tied to the road. In fact, they recently wanted to find out what would happen if they took their engineering expertise into a maritime venue. And the result, their Sport Yacht Concept, is simply stunning.

This opulent motor boat is powered by dual 5.0-liter V8 gas engines based on the brand’s 2UR-GSE high-performance car engine. Each produces 440 horsepower, giving the boat the ability to hit 43 knots, which translates to roughly 49 miles per hour. It also features a full complement of controls available at the captain’s helm via a full-color touch screen. That means GPS navigation, digital charts, surface radar, underwater sonar, lighting and entertainment systems are all available at your fingertips. There’s also a luxurious interior passenger cabin – loaded with leather, wood, and glass details – that features a fully-functional galley, head with shower, and a sofa with seating for six. At the present moment, this yacht is just a bespoke one-off, but we hope it can make it to production sometime in the future.
