Lexus is mostly known for their luxury vehicles. But today, they’re taking on a new channel for transportation. The new Lexus LY 650 performance yacht is a high-end boat that marks an awesome step outside of the company’s automotive wheelhouse.

Lexus has commissioned boat-building firm Marquis-Larson Boat Group to construct the opulent seafaring vessel, a “dream-like vision” to “expand the potential of Lexus mobility to the ocean.” At 65-feet in length, the super-yacht will feature signature Lexus design cues, advanced technology, three lavish staterooms, as well as a fully-furnished entertainment and media lounge in its cabin. The majestic maritime design will be powered by a Volvo IPS 1200 engine. Though the only images yet released are fairly conceptual, but Lexus promises to have the LY 650 in full production by the second half of 2019.
