Lenco BearCat X3 ‘FireCat’

While everybody loves a big red firetruck, there are some situations and places that call for something with a little more grit. Luckily, (for authorized law enforcement, government personnel, and government agencies) there’s another incredibly badass armored option from Lenco. And it’s called the FireCat.

More accurately the BearCat X3 FireCat, this firefighting tank is a rapid response armored SUV with “self-contained water deployment capability.” Meaning it has a protected onboard water tank and roof-mounted nozzle capable of putting out blazes in small structures, cars, and more before they spread elsewhere. It can also hook up to main water lines or water trucks for continuous flow. But what makes this vehicle really awesome is that it is fitted with .50 CAL-rated armor plating, is a fully-functional 4×4 off-roader, and has a beefy V8 turbodiesel beneath the hood. You’ll have to contact Lenco, however, for consideration regarding access to their pricing structure and any other information. [Purchase]
