LEIF eSnowboard

Life is good for the snowboarder right now, as we’re now entering the sweet spot of the calendar. But what about when Ma Nature starts cranking up the heat? Where does he or she get their thrills then? Perhaps, with the LEIF eSnowboard.

Powered by a pair of 2000W electric brushless motors, this board can take up to up 20 mph as you carve and slide on the pavement just as you would on the white stuff. The LEIF’s speed is controlled by a wireless remote that the makers say simply will not fall out of your hand. When it comes to braking, the intuitive snowboard mechanics remain intact: just slide to a stop. LEIF weighs 15 lbs., features an 8-mile range with mixed riding style, and takes about an hour to recharge. [Purchase]
