After months upon months of delays due to the ongoing global pandemic, it looks like No Time To Die will finally be making its cinematic debut on October 8th. In the meantime, we can certainly expect to see plenty of Bond-worthy goods, the latest of which being this exclusive camera from Leica.
A collaboration based on the full-frame Q2 point-and-shoot, the “007 edition” celebrates the 25th installment in the British spy’s films. As such, Leica has outfitted the camera with a number of special touches, including a 007 logo on the top plate, the infamous gun barrel design on the lens cap, as well as an individualized enumeration indicating its collectible status. And that’s not all; each Q2 also comes with an ultra-luxe, handcrafted GlobeTrotter case finished in Ocean Green leather to make a matching set. When you consider that Leica is even holding a behind-the-scenes photography exhibit at its London location, the result is a fitting tribute to one of the longest-running film franchises in British cinema. Limited to just 250 pieces worldwide, you can buy the Q2 “007 edition” now for $7,995 over on Leica’s website.
