As Marcus Wainwright tells it, the design process for Lieca’s M Monochrome Stealth Edition Camera wasn’t easy. The founder, designer, and CEO of the Rag and Bone label spent a lot of time looking at past examples of camera collaborations before the lightbulb really went off.

The insight Wainwright worked with? Leica makes the fastest lenses in the world – making them one of the best for low-light photography. From there, the fashion designer got the idea of producing a matte-black camera and highlighting markings on the body and lens with a luminescent glow green. Not only does this produce an incredibly striking look, but it makes it easier for photographers to actually operate their machine when the lights go down. And to top it off? The black and white-only digital camera, which is limited to only 125 units, will come with a Summicron-M 35 mm lens. Look for these starting March 20th.
