LEGO & adidas Team Up On A Limited Run Of Brick-Themed ZX 8000 Sneakers

After previously joining forces to deliver a special edition variant of the A-ZX series sneaker last year, the LEGO Group has once again tapped adidas Originals for a limited edition footwear run, this time with the ZX 8000s.

The ZX 8000 ‘Bricks’ Collection is comprised of half-a-dozen color options in LEGO’s classic primary hues of red, green, yellow, blue, black, and grey. The silhouette and construction go unchanged, with the Bricks Collection maintaining the ZX 8K’s mesh uppers, synthetic suede overlays, ghillie lacing system, and a modified TPU heel counter that mimics the texture of LEGO bricks. Additionally, the sneakers sport Brick-inspired elements on the lacing systems, along with a color-matched LEGO piece shoelace buckle and black interiors juxtaposed by classic LEGO logos at the top of the tongue. Regardless of which pair, every version also boasts adidas’ signature triple stripe in LEGO’s yellow and white colors. Offered in adults and children sizing, the LEGO x adidas Originals ZX 8000 ‘Bricks’ Collection will be available for purchase starting on May 7, 2021.
