LEGO Technic Porsche 911 GT3 RS

Lego fans rejoice. Now you can finally afford that Porsche 911 GT3 RS you’ve always wanted. The catch? It’s 1/8th of the size. That’s right. LEGO just announced its sizable 2,704 piece Porsche set will be available on June 1. Originally revealed at the Nuremberg Toy Fair in camo to hide its final appearance, we’re finally getting a look at the finished product – and we couldn’t be more pleased.

This piece is quite the work of art. LEGO has really outdone themselves on the 1:8 scale, and this model packs a handful of impressive features. Some of the notable ones include red suspension springs, detailed headlights and taillights, brake calipers, rims with low profile tires, a complete dashboard and working gearbox, as well as a steering wheel with gearshift paddles and racing seats. It’s a scale model of your dream car for a fraction of the actual price, supported by the LEGO name we’ve all grown to love over the years. Father’s Day anyone? Available June 1 for $300. [Purchase]
