LEGO Technic Chevrolet Corvette ZR1

LEGO stunned us with their Technic kits for the Bugatti Chiron and Porsche 911 GT3, and they’re kicking off the new year with another addition to their famed replica car lineup. The toy giant now has the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 in their Technic collection, but what makes it even more impressive is that it’s a 2-in-1 kit.

The DIY toy makers created an accurate LEGO build for the Corvette, displaying a tall rear wing, black rims with low-profile tires, and four center exhaust tailpipes to capture the appearance of the real deal in 579 pieces. It also has a working steering wheel, as well as a V8 engine with moving pistons. You can even rebuild the replica to resemble a hot rod to mix things up. Unlike the Technic kits for the Bugatti Chiron and Porsche 911 GT3, you won’t need to drop a few hundred dollars to build this 11″ speedster.
