Lego Technic BMW R 1200 GS Adventure

We’ve seen some pretty killer Lego vehicle recreations over the years. Yet, somehow, the Danish toy brand continues to impress us. From classic cars to stellar space ships, Lego’s consistent creativity appears boundless. And their latest release, a Technic version of BMW’s R 1200 GS Adventure motorcycle, seems to confirm that impression.

Designed to be “as faithful as possible,” this mini model stays true to the full-sized motorcycle’s signature styling. As it should, since it’s the first Technic model to be created in conjunction with a cycle manufacturer. From the flyline, to the movable handlebars, to the adjustable windshield, the proportions and looks are spot-on. They have even recreated the bike’s dual-cylinder boxer engine, Telelever front suspension, and have included the signature black spokes and studded tires. This 603-piece will be available for purchase in January of 2017.
