LEGO’s offering of Star Wars models is practically ceaseless. With a total of 84 builds ranging from beginner levels to that of fully-engulfed professionals, their latest announcement will surely appeal to the latter. The Danish toy brand has revealed an extensive model of the series’ iconic All Terrain Armored Transporter, more appropriately referred to as “AT-AT,” and it’s enormous.
Extensive is certainly the best way to describe this set, as this intricate replica is made up of 6,785 pieces, falling about 800 bricks short of LEGO’s similarly complex Millennium Falcon. Nevertheless, that is an exhausting amount, all of which come together to construct a painstakingly detailed display that fans will inherently admire. As expected, the four-legged tank from the films boasts authenticity in every which way, featuring rotating cannons, a pair of speeder bikes, and a strikingly large interior that’s capable of housing up to 40 other LEGO minifigures you want to take along for the ride. On that note, the build also comes equipped with an appropriate band of characters, featuring a quartet of snowtroopers, a pair of drivers, General Veers, and Luke Skywalker, the latter of which can be attached to the base of the 24.5″ build via cable — talk about detail. LEGO’s AT-AT is the latest build in their Ultimate Collector’s Series, making for a seamless addition to their 4,784-piece Imperial Star Destroyer and similarly gigantic models.
There is truly too much to say about this incredibly designed model, but it’s often smartest to put words aside and let the building do the talking. Available starting November 26th, LEGO’s impeccable AT-AT build will retail for a breathtaking $800.
