What’s the deal with LEGO? The brick builders have revealed a new Seinfeld set from their fan-designed Ideas series, and you can actually buy it. Yes, the Seinfeld LEGO set is real… and it’s spectacular.
LEGO packed a ton of Easter eggs and small details into the set, which recreates Jerry’s apartment from the greatest sitcom of all time. Five minifigs come with the set: Jerry, George, Elaine, Kramer, and Newman, and each of them includes its own accessories. Jerry is accompanied by a microphone and stand-up brick wall, Kramer has a pretzel (which presumably makes him thirsty) and his coffee table book about coffee tables, George has a fishing pole with marble rye and a Festivus pole, Newman has a letter, and Elaine has her doomed goldfish from “The Parking Garage.” The apartment itself is also packed with small details: the Superman and Porsche magnets are present on the fridge, Jerry’s old-school computer is tuned to the Vandelay Industries latex site, and a still from George’s seductive photoshoot has made its way onto the kitchen wall. This incredible set about nothing will be available from LEGO for $80 on August 1.
