Ever since it was first unveiled in 2019, the resurrected Toyota Supra seems to be gaining more and more fans as time goes on. And that trend looks to accelerate even further thanks to the efforts of an unexpected contributor: LEGO.
The Danish toy company has crafted a full-size 1:1 scale model of the Toyota GR Supra, and you can actually drive it. The incredible build is crafted from 477,303 LEGO bricks and sports several authentic Supra parts, including the wheels, tires, badges, dashboard, and steering wheel. The car also appears to have a working infotainment system and headlamps, and the amount of detail that went into almost perfectly duplicating both the interior and exterior of the Supra with LEGO bricks is impressive. LEGO hasn’t released information on the model’s drivetrain, but we’re guessing an electric motor is delivering power to the wheels, as the real GR Supra’s BMW-developed turbocharged 3.0L straight-six engine would probably melt the LEGO car’s plastic engine bay. While the model is a one-off that is presumably not for sale, LEGO does offer a toy build of the GR Supra as part of its Speed Champions line.
