LEGO has added yet another knockout vehicle to its roster of display-worthy automotive build sets, and this time it’s the aggressive and performance-minded Ford F-150 Raptor pickup truck getting the brick treatment.
Part of the brand’s Technic series of lifelike sets, the LEGO Ford F-150 Raptor is remarkably detailed with a total of 1,379 pieces making up its impressive construction. Among the more notable elements included is a recreation of the Raptor’s 3.5L EcoBoost twin-turbo V6 engine, complete with pistons that actually move. All four of the truck’s doors can be opened, along with the hood and tailgate, and suspension has been included on all four wheels. LEGO also took extra care to add realistic details to the Raptor’s interior, making the truck as true-to-life as can reasonably be expected. Fully built, the LEGO Ford F-150 Raptor measures 6” high, 16.5” long, and 7” wide. It’s available to preorder now for $100, with shipping planned for October.
