LEGO Ferrari F40
LEGO Ideas (formerly known as Cuusoo) is a place where people can gain support from fellow LEGO fans for their proposed ideas, in hopes that the toy maker will turn their concept into a reality. The platform has launched quite a few new LEGO sets in its short history, and we’re hoping this Ferrari F40 could be next up on the list.
Built from 1987 to 1992, the Ferrari F40 is far and wide considered one of, if not the greatest Ferrari ever built – and Jorge Pesi did a solid job creating a building block version of the iconic sports car. Not only does this thing look great, Peso also designed it to be completely modular. There is 4-wheel independent suspension, manual retractible headlights, 5-speed and reverse manual gearbox, V8-engine, opening doors/trunk, and you can even easily add a motor to this bad boy, transforming it into a RC LEGO model.
