Since the release of the original 1984 film, Ghostbusters has grown into a tremendously popular media franchise including a slew of comic books, video games, collectibles, cartoons, and follow-up movies, including the “controversial” 2016 remake. Now, in anticipation of the upcoming movie installment, Ghostbusters: Afterlife—originally slated to hit theaters this year before being pushed back to the summer of 2021—everyone’s favorite New York City- (now technically Oklahoma)-based enforcers of the undead have partnered with LEGO Creators to produce a recreation of the franchise’s iconic “ECTO-1.”

The heavily modified 1959 Cadillac Miller-Meteor from the hit franchise has been expertly transformed into a highly-detailed 2,352 piece kit. Measuring 8” H x 18” L and 6” W, the LEGO ECTO-1 Car features a working steering wheel, a trapdoor with a ghost trap, functioning doors—one of which opens to reveal an extending gunner seat—a roof rack, and numerous pieces of ghost-hunting equipment seen in the movies mounted on and in the iconic Caddy. The kit also includes Ghostbuster-branded LEGO blocks and a “Remote Trap Vehicle” that can be housed onboard the legendary movie car. Priced at $200, the LEGO Creator Ghostbusters ECTO-1 Car becomes available for purchase on November 15.
