LEGO has no shortage of intricate ideas and lately, it’s become overtly clear that the focus on creative projects catered toward the brand’s adult audience has seen a staggering increase. Now, the company is pandering to the nostalgic car collectors of the world, all thanks to the introduction of a 1,471-piece offering that fully realizes one of the ‘60s most sought after vehicles — the Ford Mustang.

The iconic muscle car is set to receive its own coveted LEGO rendition, complete with an original dark-blue and white colorway that harkens back to the vehicle’s most familiar trappings. GT emblems, a printed Mustang grille badge, bonnet scoop, and five-spoke wheels serve as nostalgic reminders of the car’s original form, while removable roof panels and doors give curious builders a detailed look at the classic Ford interior. The brand has even developed an extensive list of additional performance parts to accompany the scaled replica, offering a selection of license plates, a supercharger, front chin spoiler, and an improved exhaust layout that gives the car a menacing look — all thanks to input from the Mustang’s original manufacturer. A liftable hood reveals the Pony Car’s replica big block 390 V8, complete with battery, hoses, and detailed engine bay peripherals. To top it all off, an adjustable suspension allows enthusiasts to lift (or drop) the rear of the vehicle — giving fans the classic dipped stance that we all know and love.

Purchase: $150
