LEGO Carbon Fiber Tiles

Not content with simply creating the Lincoln Memorial out of LEGO pieces? OK, fine, perhaps Honest Abe does deserve better. If you’re the type who wants to inject a little adult flair into his childhood hobby, these Carbon Fiber Tiles are just what the doctor ordered.

The 1×2 tiles are machined from sheets of aerospace grade carbon fiber, and they’re meant to take your LEGO creations from “nice” to “whoa, NICE!” with a few simple flips of the wrist. The tiles are manufactured in the United States and though there can be an 8/1000 inch thickness variation from sheet to sheet, the makers ensure they all come from the same sheet. A Kickstarter pledge of $20 gets you a pack of 10 tiles. [Purchase]
