Sure LEGOs have always been popular, but it seems over the past few years, the popularity of the toy bricks has skyrocketed to unforeseen heights. The bricks know no boundaries, and this New York City apartment proves it.

Wanting to create a playful space for both themselves, and their 10-year old son, owners Melio Marks and Vicente Caride commissioned the team at I-Beam Design along with LEGO master builder Sean Kenney to create one of the greatest works of LEGO art. The designers used over 20,000 LEGO bricks to cover this 1,500 square-foot NYC apartment. It took roughly 2 weeks for the teams to build the entire staircase and upstairs loft wall, and the finished product is nothing short of jaw-dropping.
