LEGO 1968 Ford Mustang Fastback Coupe

Category: Gear

For the last few years, LEGO has been quietly teaming up with some of the biggest names in the auto industry to create sets of the most legendary cars ever built under their Speed Champions sub brand. This time, in another collaboration with Ford, they’re releasing a building brick version of the 1968 Mustang fastback coupe.

These sets are not as complex or functional as previous Technic models, but they are fitting tributes nonetheless. And they’re a good deal cheaper, too. For instance, this kit is comprised of 183 pieces that, together, build a green version of the American Muscle Car (perhaps a nod to Bullitt’s Highland Green), a driver minifig, and a mock Ford timing board. It even comes with decals so you can personalize it. Best part is, when it releases on March 1st, it’ll only cost you $15.

Purchase: $15
