Legal: Marijuana Infused Cold-Brew Coffee

Jun 6, 2014

OJ too intense to start the day with? Not looking for coffee’s caffeine high or the rancid breath? If you’re fond of mellowing your way from morning to midday, these new drinks might be your speed. There’s cannabis extract in each one.

They’re called Legal, and in the state of Washington, they are just that. Produced by Mirth Provisions, each cold-brew coffee takes advantage of the state’s lax marijuana laws by incorporating 20 milligrams of locally-grown cannabis extract into the mix. Cold Brew with Milk + Sugar features cold-pressed coffee, milk, sugar, and the aforementioned “good stuff.” Rainier Cherry is a sparkling beverage with fresh Washington cherries, while Lemon Ginger combines fresh lemon and ginger juices with cannabis. Choose from five flavors, and also choose whether or not you leave the couch all day. [Purchase]
