Sometimes you just can’t beat classic design. While production runs of the Dodge Power Wagon ceased back in 1980 – the folks at Legacy Power Wagon have managed to find a way to give these beautiful frames a new life.
Powered by a 480 horsepower direct injected 6.2 liter LT1 V-8 engine sourced from the Corvette Stingray, this big engine can get up to 60 miles per-hour in just about 6.3 seconds by pumping power through your choice of a 5-speed manual or 4 speed automatic transmission. That is saying something when you consider its 5,500 pound curb weight. It’s also available in several other configurations including a 3.9-liter Cummins turbo diesel. The engine isn’t the only thing that recommends this truck, there’s also a ton of passenger space. To accomplish this, Legacy grafted two of the classic Dodge frames to create a four-door pickup that offers up twice the room for you and your friends. And if that big roaring engine didn’t provide all the ambient noise you need, the cabin of this truck comes with a set of Focal Speakers for hi-fi sound. Just because the car uses a retro body, it doesn’t mean you have to compromise on comfort; the auto shop threw in Recaro Setas and a Nardi Steering wheel available in black stitched leather. All of this great stuff and more, with a window sticker of $250,000. [Purchase]
