Patriot Campers LC 79 Super Tourer

When it comes to surviving harsh environments, Australians know a thing or two about the arid outback. So when Patriot Campers, a manufacturer of off-road camping trailers from down under, built out a new GXL Toyota Land Cruiser we’re going to pay very close attention to what they have to offer.

Dubbed the LC79 Super Tourer, Patriot Campers made sure his mean machine was tricked out with as much off-road-ready features as possible. Additions such as an EFS suspension upgrade to 3800kg, their patented Supertourer body, both front and rear winches, and a set of ORH wheels wrapped within Mickey Thompson tires were some starting points. There’s also a slew of integrated storage within this all-black beast, a whole kitchen, and an Undertray water tank and electric pump among many other outdoor-friendy amenities. The Australian outback is recognized as one of most unforgivable climates on earth. So if you’re planning on partaking in a backcountry excursion in this part of the world, you might want to check out this or one of their many other builds or camper trailers before heading out there.
