Land Rover is giving twenty-five interested buyers an opportunity to buy an authentic factory restored Series I model, each of which are hand-picked by Land Rover Classic’s team of experts for authenticity. The Series I is restored according to original specifications, using meticulously sourced Land Rover Classic Parts.
The team draws on decades of experience to hand-pick 25 Series I chassis’ from Land Rover’s global network. Each lucky customer will be able to select their preferred base vehicle with the help of the restoration team. From here, they’ll be able to follow the restoration of their truck from start to finish, with each one being built out in the original Defender production center in Solihull, England. They’ll also get to choose from five-period finishes including light green, bronze green, RAF blue, dove grey and poppy red. The ‘Reborn’ program comes shortly after the Jaguar’s XKSS Continuation series, where the manufacturer announced the assembly of 9 XKSS sports cars easier this year. As for Land Rover, these finished pieces are expected to clock in between $85,000-$110,000. They won’t be cheap, but they will be handsome. And perfect.
