The Land Rover Defender is nothing short of iconic in the automotive world, and the good folks at Land Rover have been hard at work on their latest iteration of the immensely popular excursion vehicle.

Although we still have to wait some time for a brand new version of the Defender, this tweaked Land Rover Defender XTech Special Edition will hold us over just fine in the meantime.  The vehicle is available in both the 90 Hard Top (3 door) and 110 Utility Wagon (5 door) versions offered up in two subtle, yet incredible colors that include Nara Bronze or Orkney Grey. The vehicle has been outfitted with a 2.2 liter turbo diesel motor pumping out 120 horsepower alongside 265 ft-lb of torque, which is put to the ground through a responsive six speed trnasmission.
