Land Rover Defender 90 ‘Honey Badger’
In case it hasn’t already been made abundantly clear, we love pretty much everything that comes out of the East Coast Defender workshop. Well, apparently, we aren’t the only ones. The owner of another of their vehicles (Project Sandstorm) loved his first ECD so much that he ordered another one. This one is a gorgeous Defender 90 named after perhaps the most fearless creature in the animal kingdom; it’s called the Honey Badger.
Because they are so impressive, let’s start with some specs. This Land Rover is equipped with a 6.2-liter Chevrolet LS3 V8 engine – which gives it a whopping 430 horsepower. That also means that the Honey Badger is capable of going from 0-60 miles per hour in under six seconds. It also features an upgraded transfer case with a limited slip differential, a Borla exhaust, and 18” Sawtooth wheels with BF Goodrich All Terrain KO2 tires. Inside, she’s been fitted with a roll cage, a Kenwood infotainment system with built-in Wi-Fi, a JBL speaker system, and ivory leather Corbeau seats. And she wen’t for a pretty penny, too, costing the buyer a tidy $159,000. Worth it.
