Land Rover Defender 130 ‘Project Barge’ By ECD

E.C.D. Automotive Design knows a thing or two about customizing high-end luxury SUVs in fantastic fashion, but their Ultimate Vehicle Concept division takes their builds into the stratosphere. They’ve just unveiled the most customized ride they’ve ever built, called the ‘Project Barge’ Defender 130.

Done up in a White Diamond Pearl paint job with Nara Bronze accents on the wheels, a custom roll cage, and a genuine Brazilian teak wood pickup bed, this beefy SUV is basically a yacht on wheels. And the nautical theme extends to the cabin design — including an instrument cluster that looks like it was ripped out of a speedboat, tanned quilted leather upholstery, and a pop-out rear cabin porthole. It also boasts a JL Audio sound system, WiFi, blind spot monitoring, and more. And the whole rig is powered by a hefty 6.2L LS3 V8 engine that’s good for 495 horsepower. We hope this white whale of a 4×4 is in the hands of a deserving captain.
