Land Rover Defender 110 ‘Project Savage’ By ECD
East Coast Defender is one of the most best-known names in custom 4×4 builds, namely those crafted from a Land Rover Defender body. Along with the Ford Bronco, the International Harvester Scout, and the Jeep Wrangler, the Land Rover Defender is considered among the greatest off-road/overlanding vehicles around. For E.C.D.’s 150th custom build, they wanted to build something special. What they produced was the Land Rover build known as ‘Project Savage.’
Opulent inside and out, the beautiful Project savage is far from raw. It’s a custom, one-off build based on a Land Rover D110, given a Chevrolet LS3 6.2L 600 HP V8 engine that has been specially enhanced. Upgraded piston heads, and transmission boosting combine to make this, as E.C.D. declares it, the most powerful truck they’ve ever produced — and that’s saying a lot. A beautiful white paint job with eggshell black trim gives Project Savage a classic Defender look.
