Lamborghini Urus By Manhart Performance

Lamborghini’s newly released Urus is a tuner’s dream, and with a platform as ripe for the picking as the new Italian SUV, it was only a matter of time before custom builders started to churn out their own unique takes on the vehicle. Germany’s Manhart Performance wasted no time unveiling their power-packed iteration of the Urus, and it’s a monster in every sense of the word.

While the original SUV was powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo capable of producing an already illustrious 641 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque, it obviously wasn’t enough for the German tuner. Equipping the Urus to exert a monstrous 801-horsepower was the company’s first mission — a benchmark that they met with ease, cutting the vehicle’s 3.6-second 0-60 down by more than a couple of “tenths.” Instead of outfitting the vehicle with an entirely new powerplant, Manhart achieved the boost in performance by remapping the ECU of the car, alongside the introduction of improved turbochargers and a sports exhaust system that would help the vehicle to ascend into the realm of the gods, surpassing the brand’s Aventador SVJ in terms of power and poise. But performance improvements weren’t the only upgrade the Urus would receive — a carbon fiber front apron, skirt, hood, and rear diffuser adorn the newly updated vehicle, giving Lamborghini’s latest SUV a look all its own.
