Based in Sonora, Mexico, Abimelec Arellano is a world-renowned automotive and concept artist with a serious knack for bestowing already high-performance vehicles with over-the-top transformations, from slammed muscle cars to rally-spec hatchbacks. In recent months, Abimelec Design has been dabbling with a new series that sees ultra-high-dollar, luxury SUVs turned into arctic-grade exploration trucks, and after previously unveiling a Bentley Bentayga and Rolls-Royce Cullinan, Abimelec has bestowed the same treatment upon Lamborghini’s 190mph Urus platform.
The 627hp twin-turbocharged 4.0L V8 now rides on a set of massive balloon snow tires and a multi-inch lift kit and sports flared out fenders inspired by Lamborghini’s iconic LM002 (or “Rambo Lambo”). Other influences from vintage Lamborghini models include a Countach-themed livery, bronze wheels, and a tan leather interior. A front winch, modified bumpers, and a roof rack complete with a full-size spare tire complete this rendered transformation.
