Lamborghini made huge waves last week when it unveiled specs for the highly-anticipated Huracan Sterrato off-road supercar. While it’s exciting to speculate how the vehicle will undoubtedly impact the industry, we can partake in the fun even if we can’t afford a six-to-seven-figure sports car. To accompany the release, the Italian marque has tapped 3T for a new gravel bike.
Dubbed the Exploro RaceMax X Huracan Sterrato, the bicycle has been given 700c Pirelli Cinturato Gravel M tires for riding on any road and design cues based on the supercar with the same OD green colorway. Additionally, much of the drivetrain and construction uses 3T’s proprietary technology and materials, such as the Fango RaceMax fork, MinMax headset, Exploro seatpost, Apto Stealth stem, Aeroghiaia LTD handlebar, and Discus 45 wheelset with Carbon Ti hubs.
Also from 3T, the high-end frame itself is inspired by the construction of the Sterrato, featuring 3T’s own in-house carbon fiber material with RTM resin injection for superior strength and stiffness while also being lightweight.
Those interested can pre-order the Exploro RaceMax X Huracan Sterrato in four different frame sizes for $15,000 on 3T’s website. Deliveries are expected to commence in March.
