Investing in a pair of resilient, premium hiking boots is in your best interest if adventure is your forte. Prominent Italian brand, La Sportiva, a company that provided Italy’s soldiers with custom mountaineering boots during WWII, will be releasing a new series of hiking boots early next year, and we’re particularly excited about the rugged Pyramid GTX boots.

Built with seamless Gore-Tex Surround technology, along with a natural nubuck upper with hydrophobic treatment and patches of thermo polyurethane, neoprene and mesh nylon, these hiking boots can take a beating. Taking a look at the sole of the shoe, it has distinctive ventilation channels, a perforated intermediate layer of EVA foam, foamed polyurethane and an interior anatomical insole built with perforated foam. All of these specs point to durability and comfort, allowing you to protect your soles and keep clawing forward on your journey. These boots are set to go for around $200.

Purchase: $200
