KTM CR8 Superbike Concept
Despite its best intentions, the KTM RC8 did not perform up to the super bike standards of Yamaha or Kawasaki despite boasting beastly stats like a 1,148cc v-twin engine that produced 151hp. In turn, KTM only produced a small number of these things, positioning them a bit on the exclusive side.
Now, the super bike maker KTM is considering a release of the CR8 (CR meaning “cafe racer”) based upon the RC8 model. Designed by Mirco Sapio, this 2-wheeler would follow in the footsteps of the Honda RC213V-S. However, all we have to base this assumption off of are these released renderings for our viewing pleasure. Regardless, this bike wouldn’t be for the faint of heart, reserved exclusively for dedicated riders; weekend warriors need not apply. It hosts a fair amount of evil character and a darkened aesthetic drawing in the allure of those interested in pushing the limits of their well-being. However, until further action is taken, this will have to be a concept that continues to haunt us in our dreams.
