For the last 20-years Kriega has been producing off-road-focused motorcycle bags and accessories that have resonated with the adventure riding community thanks to their rugged and durable nature. And that tradition continues with two of the firm’s latest wares, the Trail 9 Adventure and Trail 18 Adventure backpacks.
Both bags are constructed from hardwearing 420D Cordura Lite Plus and Hypalon and feature large main 100% waterproof (and fully-submersible) roll-top compartments. A bevy of smaller cavities are protected by water-resistant YKK zippers and the backs of the bags feature honeycombed Hypalon and elastic cord netting for supplementary storage. An air-mesh back panel provides ample ventilation for the rider, while the use of Kriega’s QUADLOC-Lite four-point X-style harnesses evenly distributes weight and allows for a snug and precise fit. The Trail 9 and Trail 18 can also accommodate Kriega’s 2L and 3.75L HYDRAPAK reservoirs as well as harness pockets. Both of these new Kriega backpacks are available for preorder now, slated for deliveries to begin in April, with the Trail 9 Adventure priced at around $170 and the Trail 18 Adventure going for approximately $218. And, like all Kriega products, both these bags are sold with the company’s 10-year guarantee.
