Klipsch is no stranger to the high-end audio space. They’ve become a regular inclusion on any of our audibly-focused guides, and over the years, they’ve fostered an image of true professionalism through the continued refinement of their headphone catalog. Now, the brand’s sleek architecture has been contracted for a collaborative effort with McLaren’s Formula 1 branch, resulting in the T5 II Sport.
Aside from their 25% smaller stature, the T5 II Sport headphones aren’t a far cry from Klipsch’s traditional offerings — but that certainly isn’t a bad thing. They boast best-in-class, Bluetooth 5 connectivity, a dynamic 5mm custom driver that delivers a well-balanced range of high output frequencies, and low-end bass, and an “all-day” battery that allows for up to eight hours of playback (plus an additional 24, when coupled with its proprietary charging case). On the exterior, a mixture of speed-inspired blacks and oranges define the T5 II’s shadowy silhouette, working alongside its IP67-rated dust- and water-proofing to ensure adequate protection when listening in the rain. But, should you feel that the accessory’s in-place systems are less than trustworthy, never fear. Their unique case has been outfitted with an interesting moisture removal system, allowing you to pop them in for a quick dry. Head over to Klipsch’s website to pre-order yours for $250.
