Klipsch Capitol One Speaker

Not all may be familiar with Capitol records, but everyone knows their artists. Since 1942, the Los Angeles-based record label has worked with musicians like Dean Martin, Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, Snoop Dog, and Miles Davis just to name a few. This year, to celebrate 75 years of publishing some of the world’s best records, Capitol is collaborating with Klipsch to roll out the One Speaker.

Predictably, this thing is incredibly well made. The desktop Bluetooth 4.0 enabled speaker boasts two amps, two 2 1/4-inch drivers, and one hefty 4.5-inch woofer – all of which work together to produce sound that would satisfy even the pickiest audiophile. As a kind of counterpoint to all of this modern audio-engineering and technology, the speaker housing is designed to look more like something out of the 1950s. The One features a genuine wood veneer (in either ebony or blonde), spun copper knobs and switches, and a quality woven fabric screen. Finally, to top the whole thing off, it boasts a whole 8 hours of playtime when unplugged thanks to its rechargeable i-ion battery so you can take it anywhere in the house.
