KLAX Multi-Tool Ax

Axes are one of those things you don’t want to hit the great outdoors without, but let’s be real – they take up too much valuable space. Oregon based Klecker Tools knows this problem all too well, and decided to create the Klax.

The brand boasts that this thing is “more than an ax,” and they don’t fall short of that promise either. The Klax is a flat-packing ax that includes an array of other tools ranging from hex wrenches and a quarter-inch bit drive socket to a bottle opener and a ruler – because even in the great outdoors, beer is a must. The head of the axe can be used in conjunction with the included wooden handle, or can be attached to a thick wooden stick or branch in the wild. The KLAX weighs just 7.4 ounces, and will be available in four different styles to suit your needs. The project just surpassed its funding goal on Kickstarter, and we are hoping it hits the retail scene before next summer. [Purchase]
