Having been in operation for more than 20 years, Klim (pronounced “climb”) already boasts one of the most impressive — and extensive — catalogs of innovative snow and adventure moto gear. And fresh on the heels of releasing the world’s first-ever CE AAA-rated textile moto garment with its Badlands Pro A3 range, Klim has now turned its attention to the optics sector to deliver the industry’s first pair of frameless riding goggles.
Dubbed the “Edge Off-Road Goggles,” this advanced piece of eyewear has been engineered from the ground up to improve just about every measurable area possible. Rather than a traditional setup, the Edge model features a “frameless” design where a quick-release lens connects to a low-profile, two-piece housing via magnets and then is further secured with a slide lock. The lack of a surrounding structure affords the Edge a class-leading field of view. What’s more, the anti-scratch, anti-fog lens — which is offered in several “smoked” and clear versions — is injection molded and also gets an impressive ANSI Z87.1 impact safety rating. Produced in three color options and sold with a premium two-part goggle bag for lens polishing and moisture absorption, the Klim Edge Off-Road Goggle is available now, with pricing set at $140.
