KFC Tray Typer Bluetooth Keyboard

It’s quite a conundrum for the fast food aficionado: You wanna text your friends a picture of you attempting to down a KFC Double Down, but you don’t wanna coat your $600 phone in a thin film of chicken grease. The Colonel feels your pain.

As part of a marketing strategy for KFC Germany, the company has unveiled the KFC Tray Typer, a 4-millimeter thin rechargeable Bluetooth keyboard connects to your smartphone; not a bad alternative to the typical paper sheet that normally sits on the tray. Serviceplan, the company behind the move, says every single Tray Typer was taken home by every customer who received one. There’s no word yet on whether this advertising experiment will turn into something more permanent or make its way out of Germany. [Via]
