In the world of pocket knives, nothing beats a flipper. In fact, it was the award-winning Zero Tolerance 0777 flipper that served as inspiration for seven all-new Natrixes slated for release this year. However, it’s the Black Natrix – featured here with a fine black-oxide finish – that managed to catch our attention.

Boasting a 3.25-inch drop-point steel blade accessed with the help of a built-in flipper, each Kershaw Natrix is an easy to open one-handed knife thanks to a KVT ball-bearing opening. The all-black design of the Natrix is also complemented by the knife’s oversized pivot and Kershaw’s patented Sub-Frame Lock which provides a sleek sweeping line across the back. This tech also keeps things lighter than usual – 2.9 ounces to be exact – while a closed length of 4.25 inches, open length of 7.5 inches, all-black G10 handle, and a deep carry pocket clip make the Natrix a go-to pocketknife for any EDC enthusiast.
