Kaos Temple Skate Park

The energy drink giant Red Bull has teamed up with the skate collective Church Brigade to transform Spain’s historic church of Santa Barbara into one hell of a skate park.

Originally designed over 100 years ago (1912 to be exact) in Llanera, Asturias, this dilapidated old church had been sitting vacant for years. Collaborating with artist Okuda San Miguel, the crew was able to use those towering vaulted ceilings and walls as a blank canvas for beautiful geometric patterns, and vividly colored animal, human and skull faces that now adorn the entire interior. So what do you name a skatepark with such a trippy design? Kaos Temple, of course. Watch the video below to learn more about the project.
