Kahn Design first debuted their 6-wheeled Defender concept earlier in the year. We didn’t think the project would ever make it past the drawing board, but sure enough at the Geneva Motor Show, the design team pulled the curtain back on the real deal Land Rover Defender 6×6 Flying Huntsman.
The premise of the vehicle is simple – an SUV with the DNA of the beloved Defender, but stretched into a beastly 6×6 machine. Inspired by the G-Wagon 6×6, this vehicle underwent a 400 mm extension on the front end, with an additional 800mm added to the rear cabin, while also being widened by 150mm. To accommodate this larger body, Kahn also equipped the vehicle with a third axle, heavy duty chassis, upgraded suspension, brakes, and a whole lot more. No detail was too small, as the team decked out the interior in Harris Tweed. You can now purchase this beastly 6×6 on the brand’s website for a cool $312,559. [Purchase]
