Juiced Changes The Game With This 70-Mile Electric Bike

As the industry dives deeper into the realm of electrified bicycles, the opportunity for companies to set themselves apart has become all the more difficult. However, there are exceptions to the rule — especially when you’ve got the “Juiced” namesake to back you up.

The renowned transportation company has recently announced the next iteration in their highly-touted bicycle lineup, expounding upon the industry’s definition of a fully-outfitted e-platform. The CrossCurrent S2, as it’s been called, brings an understated silhouette, simplistic styling, and an aesthetically-pleasing persona to the world of complex-looking bikes. If the presentation of the CrossCurrent isn’t enough to satiate your thirst for a genre-defining e-cycle, perhaps the technical specifications will — a 9-speed Shimano drivetrain, 52-volt battery, and 750-watt Bafang geared hub motor will allow riders to hit the bike’s top speed of 28 miles-per-hour (or 33, with manual labor involved) with ease. Better yet, the S2 is a tried-and-true commuter, boasting a real-world range of up to 70 miles (for the 13.0 Ah variant) on a single charge. If you’re interested in acquiring one of your own, head over to the Juiced website — the CrossCurrent S2 is available now for $1,799.
