JR’s Eco Hut in Nangus, Australia

Sometimes, when we go on vacation, it’s great to get knee-deep in a new city and explore. Other times, we want to completely get off the grid, unplug, and unwind. Well, at Kimo Estate in Nangus, Australia you can get way off the grid by staying in JR’s Eco Hut.

But, don’t worry – you don’t have to rough it, either. This A-frame cabin, which sits atop a remote hill, is much more than a lean-to. In fact, with its solar panels (to provide power and water), spacious accommodations, full bathroom, and breakfast included with your stay, we’d certainly rank this closer to a luxury suite. Still, with no neighbors for miles around and glorious 360-degree views of the surrounding countryside, this might be the best and most comfortable place in all of Australia to get some time to yourself – or with a partner. You can rent JR’s Eco Hut on AirBnB now for $269 a night.

Purchase: $269+
