After building a name for himself and his brand off the strength of its ultra-premium takes on men’s clothing basics, staples, and essentials, John Elliott decided to venture into the footwear sector. The Los Angeles fashion icon originally planned on unveiling his inaugural shoe model at Paris Fashion Week last year, though, after 12 months of delays, Elliott has opted to reveal its new footwear on its website.
Christened the Speed Lace Up Boot, the shoes are modeled after traditional Italian alps and mountaineering boots though feature a few contemporary touches such as an additional layer of cushioning in the footbed, a neoprene liner, and Vibram outsoles. Designed to jive with a wide range of styles and outfits, this top-shelf hiking boot is made in Italy and boasts supple suede and calf-leather uppers complimented via green branded insoles and a rubberize leather rand. Objectively high-end through and through, the John Elliott Speed Lace Up Boot is available now in Desert Suede with pricing set at $598.
