Jimco Spec Trophy Truck

Speeding through the inhospitable desert inside a mean off-road behemoth is a way any of us would like to spend a weekend with friends. Though if you’ve been lucky enough to hit the trails and tear up the arid landscape, you’re aware of the potential pitfalls associated with such an activity. Jimco Racing looks to mitigate these risks, through building off road machines that are borderline indestructible,

Inspired by the Ford Raptor, this Jimco Trophy Truck boasts either a Ford Spec V8 or Chevy LS3 engine and 17-inch wheels featuring 26-inches of travel in the front and 32 inches in the rear. It cruises atop a set of monstrous 37-inch BFG Racing tires and the whole body is built from custom Ford Raptor custom fiberglass. There’s also a 6 piston brake system and a custom suspension to boot. It’s constructed with the Baja 1000 in mind, and by the looks of this thing, we’ll place our bets on the Jimco performing quite well. [H/T: Maxim]
