Jelly Belly Draft Beer Jelly Beans

Having already given us orange sherbet, toasted marshmallow, and chocolate pudding flavors, it was only a matter of time before Jelly Belly went the brewski route. And here it is, the Draft Beer jelly bean. Said to pack a Hefeweizen-inspired ale flavor, this bean is debuting at the Winter Fancy Food Show in San Francisco and ISM in Cologne, Germany, naturally.

There’s nary a drop of alcohol in the sweet treat, but Jelly Belly says it still delivers an “effervescent and crisp flavor,” with “notes of wheat and a touch of sweetness.” It’s not the first foray into adult beverages for Jelly Belly, as Pina Colada and Mai Tai have been around for years, followed more recently by Mojito in 2010. Look for Draft Beer Jelly Bellys at your local candy shop soon. [Purchase]
