This Water-Resistant Parka Boasts Retro Styling & Has D30 Armor Pockets

Traditionally, motorcyclists have been forced to choose between style and protection when it comes to gearing up, opting for one at the expense of the other. In the last few years, however, a growing number of manufacturers have introduced garments that offer the best of both worlds: robust protection in a fashion-forward design. Jane Motorcycles’ all-new Kingsland Parka jacket wonderfully epitomizes these modern no-compromise offerings, boasting solid protection in a jacket that can be proudly worn on or off the bike.

Born out of two-years of development, Jane Moto’s versatile new parka is constructed from water-resistant 8.5oz waxed canvas, supplemented by a wind-resistant nylon liner and a stud-fastened weather flap adorning the main zipper. Offered in Field Tan or Black, the Kingsland Parka is a 3-season jacket that’s sized to be worn over a sweater or base-layer. The American-made garment sports four button-down front pockets and a trio of zippered pockets on the outside, as well as a pair of interior pockets. There’re also internal pockets in the elbows and back for removable CEE/CE-certified D30 armor (the former of which is included with the jacket while the latter is sold separately).
