Jaguar XKSS Vintage Supercar

Better start saving. Jaguar just released plans to bring back to life their 1957 XKSS, the race car that started it all. The auto manufacturer plans to build each one by hand to the exact detail of the original. Sound like a dream? You bet it is. Especially because Jaguar only plans on dishing out nine of these bad boys to the public; five of which are already reserved.

The number nine is special to Jaguar because it pays homage to the nine XKSS sports cars that were lost in the Browns Lane plant five years ago while they were still in production. Now, few changes, including a new windshield and bumper, will be added to the newer models but under the hood you will still find a roaring 5-liter supercharged 8-cylinder engine, capable of getting you up to 200mph without hesitation and 0-60 in 3.5 seconds. The price? $1.4 million. Not bad eh?
