Since 2008, E-Type UK has focused on no other vehicle apart from the iconic Jaguar E-Type. It’s a specialization that’s allowed the British outfit to become one of the world’s leading authorities on the classic V12, with no shortage of beautiful builds in its portfolio. None of them tops this, though.
It’s called the ‘Unleashed,’ and it’s the first of many Jags that E-Type UK will be refining and reimagining for the present day. In the case of the one before you, they’ve taken a Series 3 and poured nearly 4,000 hours of work into it, altering the styling, upgrading the engine, and adding a slew of creature comforts. For instance, the grille, badge, and bumpers are all custom-made, giving the car a subtle facelift that’s sleeker but nevertheless original. Under the hood, the V12 has been re-bored from 5.3 to 6.1L and fitted with a bespoke EFI system, improving its output to some 400hp. And when it comes to the interior, you’ll find that the car is timeless yet techy, finished in brown leather and polished aluminum whilst offering such modern amenities as Bluetooth, electric windows, and full AC.
